At Ormau, every piece of furniture is crafted with care and delivered through a secure, multi-stage international logistics process.
This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how your order is produced, shipped, tracked, and delivered.

1. Free Global Shipping

Ormau offers free worldwide shipping on all orders.
No additional shipping or handling fees will be charged at checkout—regardless of your region.

2. Order Processing & Production

Once your order is placed:

  • Order Processing: 1–2 business days
  • Made-to-Order Production: approximately 20 business days

Since most Ormau products are made to order, production begins shortly after purchase.
If you need to make changes, please contact us as soon as possible.

3. International Ocean Freight

After production, your furniture is professionally packed and shipped via international sea freight.

  • Sea Freight Transit Time: ~30 business days
  • Port Arrival & Customs Clearance: varies by destination

This method ensures safe transportation for large and bulky items while minimizing the risk of damage.

4. Domestic Final-Mile Delivery

Once your shipment arrives at the destination port, it is transferred to a regional warehouse and then handed over to a local carrier.

  • Domestic Delivery Time: ~15 business days
  • Delivery Type: curbside or doorstep delivery

Room-of-choice delivery, assembly, or packaging removal are not included in standard shipping.

5. Total Estimated Delivery Time

The complete delivery timeline typically ranges from:

60–70 business days
(from order date → production → sea freight → domestic delivery)

Actual times may vary due to customs, weather, port congestion, holidays, or carrier schedules.

6. Tracking Your Order

You can track your shipment anytime on our tracking page:

Tracking is updated in two stages:

  • Stage 1 – Sea Freight Tracking: Provided once the container departs from China.
  • Stage 2 – Domestic Delivery Tracking: Generated once the shipment arrives at the destination port and is handed to a local carrier.

It is normal for the domestic tracking number to be available only after the sea shipment reaches your country.

7. Multiple Packages

Furniture items often ship in multiple cartons. It is normal for:

  • Cartons to arrive on different days;
  • Cartons to have different tracking numbers;
  • Some items to be processed by different delivery teams based on size and weight.

8. Delivery Attempts

Local carriers will attempt delivery according to their schedule. If you miss a delivery attempt:

  • A re-delivery may be scheduled automatically;
  • Your package may be held at a local facility;
  • Additional fees may apply if repeated attempts fail.

9. Damaged or Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or with issues, please report it within 7 days of delivery.
Provide photos of:

  • Product damage
  • Outer packaging
  • Carton labels

10. Packaging Information

All Ormau products are packaged using:

  • Heavy-duty export-grade cartons;
  • Internal foam protection and corner guards;
  • Shock-absorbing materials for fragile surfaces.

Please retain all original packaging until you confirm the item is acceptable.

11. Customs, Duties & Taxes

Depending on your region, customs fees or import taxes may apply.
These charges are determined by local authorities and are not controlled by Ormau.

12. Incorrect Address or Delivery Issues
