Thank you for shopping with Ormau INC. We strive for full customer satisfaction. Because our premium furniture items are large and made-to-order, our return and refund procedures are designed to ensure fairness and clarity for both parties.

By placing an order on https://ormau.com, you agree to the following Refund & Return Policy.

1. Order Cancellation

All Ormau products begin processing shortly after purchase:

  • Within 24 Hours: You may request a cancellation free of charge for a full refund.
  • After 24 Hours: As the item enters the handcrafted production stage, a production or material fee may apply.
  • After Shipment: Orders cannot be canceled once they have left our facility or are in transit via sea freight.

2. Return Eligibility & Window

To ensure consistency across our platform, Ormau offers a 30-Calendar Day Return Window.

  • Request Period: You must initiate a return request within 30 calendar days of the delivery date.
  • Condition: The item must be unused, unassembled, and in its original packaging (including all foam, hardware, and protective crates).
  • Exclusions: Custom-made, clearance items, or products damaged due to customer assembly are not eligible for return.

3. Return Fees & Costs

For “change of mind” returns (non-defective items), please be aware of the following costs:

  • Restocking & Handling Fee: A 20% fee of the total order value will be deducted from your refund to cover inspections, warehouse handling, and administrative costs.
  • Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for the actual return shipping costs. Due to the size of furniture, these costs can be significant.

4. Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged, please report it within 7 calendar days of delivery to qualify for a no-cost resolution.

  • Please provide clear photos/videos of the damage and the outer packaging labels.
  • Ormau will provide replacement parts, repair kits, or a full replacement at our expense depending on the severity of the issue.

5. Refund Process & Timeline

Once your return is received and passes inspection at our designated warehouse:

  • Inspection Window: 3–7 Calendar Days.
  • Refund Issuance: 5–10 Calendar Days (depending on your financial institution).
  • Total Estimated Timeline: 8–17 Calendar Days after the item arrives at our warehouse.

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please note that the 20% restocking fee is non-refundable.
