At Ormau INC, we are committed to delivering premium handcrafted furniture with full transparency. This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines our timelines and tax responsibilities based on Calendar Days (including weekends and holidays).
1. Free Shipping (Contiguous U.S.) & Exclusions
Ormau INC offers Free Standard Shipping on all orders within the contiguous United States. We manage the entire logistics chain—from our workshop to your doorstep—with no hidden shipping or handling fees.
Shipping Exclusions: Due to the large size and weight of our handcrafted furniture and the nature of ocean freight logistics, we currently do not ship to the following locations:
- Alaska (AK) and Hawaii (HI);
- U.S. Overseas Territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, etc.);
- Military Bases (APO/FPO/DPO addresses);
- P.O. Boxes (Post Office Boxes).
2. Total Estimated Delivery Timeline
To provide the most accurate expectation, our delivery process is divided into three distinct stages:
- Order Processing & Production: 7–14 Calendar Days.
- Ocean Freight Transit: Approximately 30 Calendar Days.
- Local U.S. Delivery: Approximately 15 Calendar Days.
Total Estimated Time: 52–59 Calendar Days
3. Customs, Duties & Import Fees
Ormau INC is a U.S. registered entity and handles all import duties. We take full responsibility for international customs clearance and any associated brokerage fees.
- The price you see is the final price for the product and its importation.
- No unexpected customs invoices will be issued to you upon delivery.
4. Sales Tax
In compliance with U.S. state and local tax laws, sales tax is applicable to orders based on the shipping destination.
- Sales tax is not included in the base product price.
- The exact tax amount is automatically calculated at checkout once you provide your shipping address.
- Rates vary by state and local jurisdiction.
5. Final-Mile Delivery Services
Once your shipment completes customs clearance at a U.S. port, it is transferred to a specialized regional furniture carrier.
- Delivery Type: Standard Curbside or Doorstep Delivery.
- Scheduling: The local carrier will contact you via phone or email to schedule a delivery window once the item reaches your local hub.
6. Tracking Your Order
You can monitor your shipment 24/7 via our Tracking Page.
Note: Your local tracking number (e.g., FedEx Freight or specialized carrier) will be activated and sent to you via email once the container has been offloaded and cleared customs at the U.S. port.
7. Damaged or Missing Items
While we use export-grade reinforced crating, accidents can happen. Please inspect your delivery carefully.
- Report any damage within 7 Calendar Days of receipt.
- Provide photos of the product, the outer packaging, and the shipping labels.
